Do you think my problem be caused by something wrong with my motherboard? I have disconnected every thing except keyboard, mouse, monitor, router, modem, and system harddrive. I have not yet reinstalled the system. Still having problems AND no detection of my router/modem (no internet). Since I can get on the internet on my laptop, the problem does not seem to be with either the modem or the router. That makes me think it has to be the motherboard. I have used the motherboard disk to reinstall it but the problem still persists.

It would be very helpful if the question asked were answered.
Next, when you are requested to do something, let us know whether you have or have not done the requested thing.

Now you need to install Windows 7 Updates including SP-1 and (KB971033).

    The reason. From your log.

License Status: Initial grace period Time remaining: 43020 minute(s) (29 day(s))
    Windows OS version: 6.1.7600.2.00010300.0.0.003

Is their a reason you installed Windows 7 that did NOT include SP-1?
