Folder view in my Windows 7 has changed to weird!?

To understand my problem please refer to the image.

I remember it happened after I tried using a folder background changing software.

I also tried resetting folder view from windows settings - and registry tweaks that I found in this forum. What else am I missing?

Your column widths must have changed. Here is the fix:

It is not clear what you are referring to when you say "weird selection"

Hello, thanks for replying, I'm going crazy over this!

To clarify my issue I've made another screenshot, I hope it's clear to understand this time .

Try a system restore to a point before you used the third party software! If that works, don't use that softaware again!
Did you backup the registry before "tweaking it"?

As these changes only manifested themselves after a third part program was installed my money is on that software causing the problem!

Thank you all for repaying, I don't have any system restore points created before this happened.

But I did notice the change after I used this software. I'm not using it now. Dose anyone know about this software?

I would uninstall the software and look to see if you accidently downloaded some of the other freebies from the background changer and uninstall them. Then I would rum Malwarebytes (Free edition) two or three times. I think you might have introduced a bug!!!
