    weird purple tint

    hey,

I recently got some malware, and suddenly my whole screen turned into a weird purple tint.
I have removed all the malware, verified the windows files, and I'm updating my drivers right now.

on the following website i read that it is an error, but their solutions don't work.
I have also checked and the menus of my monitor are normal collors.
my gpu is a gtx 750ti and my os is windows 7 64.

    thanks

Let us know what happens after you finish re-installing your graphics drivers.

Okay. Have you tried restoring back to a time before this problem started? I know it's a silly question but sometimes we forget the most basic things. I do it all the time.

    Is it plugged in properly?

I actually thought about asking you this but did not want to seem disrespectful. Better to suggest that "some of the simplest things.... blah blah blah." LEVEL1TECHS (on YouTube) has a running joke about this sort of thing where they ask, "Did you turn it on?" I suspect few of us are strangers to this Duh-0h! Syndrome. Glad to learn you have it up and running again. Have fun out there in cyber land.
