    Ghost Program

    Goodday Folks:

When I hit the sack last night I blacked out my monitor which was running my Google homepage. When I cleared my screen this morning, low and behold there was the Yahoo home page. The strange thing is that the application doesn't show up in my Startup Window, it does not show up in my Control Panel program list, it doesn't show up on my Uninstaller app, nor do I see any reference to Yahoo in my registry. My AV program did not pick up the installation nor does it show it as a virus. Any advice folks?

If its just a web search page its not a installed program you should just be able to reset it in the browser

Your computer was running while you were sleeping and the monitor was turned off is my understanding.

What did you have your computer doing while you were sleeping?
To put it another way; why was the computer left on all night?
