Boot time slower for 64 bit vs 32 bit?
I was running 32 bit and am now running 64 bit but the 64 bit seems to take longer to boot.

Ok...I didn't seem to notice much difference myself. Have you installed all of the 64-bit drivers for your hardware??
Boot time here with 86x and 64x on two quite different machines are similar, I don't think 64x is necessarily any slower. Boot time for my desktop 64x machine (as per the specs on my profile) is circa 30 seconds to desktop, 45 seconds until all gadgets are visible and I would want to begin using the PC.
Back on the RC and betas of x64, the logo screen would remain only ~10 seconds. When I went to my x32 RC installation, the logo screen remained ~80 seconds. When I first installed the x64 RTM, the logo screen remained ~80 seconds, but for reasons that I don't have the answer to, it has finally reduced to ~30 seconds. Still not a hotrod, but at least not taking last place.
Using a program called bootracer with the same setup. 32 bit 83 seconds - 64 bit 90 seconds. Seems longer than 7 seconds.
I hadn't heard of Bootracer until you menioned it. I just tried it, and while it confirmed what I already knew...W7 is slow...it only showed a couple of times, but not the time for each driver's loading. Win7Zilla sort of broke the time down more finely. Here is the sad picture painted by Bootracer:
I just realized that I had my head up and locked, and hadn't installed the nForce driver. That made a significant improvement, but still alot of room for improvement:
