    Addendum:
    Just a comment on Downloads:

    I hate downloading something, and then have to go looking for it, which I have to do on most of my customer's PC's.

    Since downloads are usually done through a Browser (I use Firefox), it's fairly easy to tell the browser where to put downloads. I prefer to just have it put them on my Desktop, where I can find them easily and then I can decide what to do with them. I do the same with my download manager, "Internet Download Manager".
    Life's a lot simpler with just a little 'Preparation'.

    You're not a nut case or an extremist. We've all been using similar programs (I mean the legit programs, not the troublesome ones.) since Win 95. If Tharwatime isn't convinced by now, let him/her be.
