Trying to extract a rar file using bat file

hi,
i want to extract a rar file suing bat file command
tried but failed

unrar x d:\ALL_BILLS2.rar *.dll c:\ddd\

need help please

What error does it gives? How it failed? What does it shows?
As it stands, we have absolutely no idea what's going on there.

I haven't used it in a long time, but you might want to use WinRAR. I believe it is a free program that will execute the file for you.

i know all about the application to extract win rar or zip file...
now i just want to extract my zip or rar file with automation, same as a software install in predefined directory by the author...

Perhaps if you provided additional information... like any error message output which results from trying to execute your command... that would probably be more useful to those who'd like to try and help. Just saying "it failed" isn't very informative.

Also, is this the only line in your BAT file? If you could post (as "code") the exact contents of the command file it would also be helpful.

Again, "failed" doesn't give us any clue as to what might be missing and/or needed.

Please elaborate and clarify if you'd really like some thoughts and suggestions from others.
