Unable to make English as default keyboard

Hi, I would like to make English as my default language on my keyboard but I am unable to. I went to the appropriate settings, please check screenshot below, but even though every time I go to some application the keyboard switches automatically to the third language from top to bottom, which doesn't make sense and its supper annoying I have to keep switching language every time I open a new program, like word or dreamweaver. I do not want to remove that language though because I sometimes use it, but I don't want it as a default.

How can I fix that?

That is strange.
How many physical keyboards layouts you have?
I can see 6 Keyboard layouts. Remove those you don't use.
I only have one keyboard (US) so I have the US international to write Portuguese, Spanish, French and English.
