Windows 7: Should you use pc on Office windows domain for personal use?

You have no assurance of privacy when using a company computer, whether on company premises or not. The computer is theirs and they have a right to control how it is used. If this is a concern to you purchase your own computer with a private Internet connection.

Make sure you get that permission spelled out in fine detail in writing. Otherwise, it's your word against the supervisor's (and guess who the company will believe?).

You leave a browser trail wherever you go. Even if you stay within their guidelines, do you really want their knowing everything you do? How about your privacy?

I would advise you to get your own laptop or desktop, something refurbished or on sale, if money is an issue.
