can you recommend a book(s) to learn more about computers....

the little I understand about the "parts" and function of my computer limits me ability to not only problem solve, but know how to search and understand solutions...

I probably need to start at... beginner...
but I'd like a book that is thorough

I don't need to be able to build one... but I's like to be more familiar with the terms and functions

I spent some time today reading... and realized.. I need an organized sequence or I'm going to be confused...
I'd look for an online class but sometimes... I work late

thank you

thank you

I've spent some time these past two weeks with problems
made even more obvious... my lack of general knowledge is a big drawback in phrasing questions for searches and understanding solutions

I'm fascinated but... never had the time
now realizing... I need to invest in better general knowledge...

hard to know where to start ;-)

Hi,
We've all been there
Baby steps and or step by step what you're are doing and what happens during or soon after that goes wrong is the best thing I can say usually gives others a better understanding.
When ever you're ready :)
