    Windows commands

I had an icon the desktop labeled "all commands". I could open it and it displayed all the various commands available in the OS. Somehow it no longer exists. I'd like to bring it back. If anyone has an idea how to do i, I would appreciate it,

    Hello Bill, :)

If you like, here's a command-line reference for Windows 7 from Microsoft to help. You could create a shortcut of the website below to use.

I clicked on the link and Microsoft said it could not recognize the page. Please check to be sure there is no misspelling, etc. Thanks, Bill

Odd. You might see if you can open the link in another browser.

All the previously posted links work just fine here, using Firefox 55.0.3

It IS helpful to keep one's browser up to date.

I use Firefox as well and have it set to automatically update. The icon I had contained a list of all the available commands in the OS. I don't remember how I got it but it was a great help when you wanted to check something or modify parameters such as the ability to set up specific suffixes to start a certain piece of software. Any help would be much appreciated.

It is likely that the icon itself didn't contain the commands, but rather was simply a shortcut which pointed to the actual document that contained the commands.

If you dig around or do a search for the actual document and then find it, you could create another shortcut to it on your desktop.

If you know the most recent date that the document was modified, that could help you find it.
