How to make the Explorer button STAY on the taskbar?

    How to make the Explorer button STAY on the taskbar?


    I love the button on the taskbar that opens a new Explorer window, it's really useful. However, the button disappears whenever I have any windows open! Is there any way to make this button stay there all the time so it can be used to open multiple new windows?

    Even better would be if I could have more than one Explorer button which I can use to open different folder locations.

    Is there any way to do anything like this please?

    You could create shortcuts to any folders you want. Then pin the shortcuts to the taskbar.

The taskbar always stays on no matter what is open. Its really bugging me. I can't findsetting to make it hide when a program is open. I don't want to use the autohide feature. So i just finished doing my mac theme for my win7 x64 pc. So I put my rocketdock on the bottom of my screen and set my taskbar to minimize but now whenever i go down to my rocketdock taskbar the default one pops up with it! So how do i keep it from un minimizing?
I have to read a lot of PDF's, the problem is obviously if I have to restart or turn off my PC, when I re-open them, they are back at the beginning. I can just put the last page number I was reading in the filename, which I do, but I just wondered if there was a quicker way, a way to make them stay...
Is there a way to make the colors that appear on the taskbar buttons during mouse over...stay on always.
