Did you install the Intel Management Engine Interface Driver? (that is PCI Simple Communications )

Download Intel Management Engine Interface Driver

    Looks fine apart from that

OK, now I installed the Intel Management Engine Driver, and my Fitbit works, thanks! I didn't install every driver listed on the Drivers and Utilities disk, because things seem to be working well, and also because Windows installed about 200 updates, but maybe I should. Out of town for a few days, so I will check back in when I return. I did have a question about my old hard drive (Seagate 500 GB), which the computer shop returned. Is it safe to give away for parts, or could someone access my old data on there? I noticed that people do give them away free on my local Freecycle list. But I can take a hammer to it if necessary!

Attach the old HDD to a Desktop (or on a USB case) and run a program (like MiniTool Partition Wizard) that randomly puts 0 or 1 on every bit (Wipe disk function).
Or as you said, use the hammer on it.

Hello again....things going well here, just a few glitches now and then. Like now I can't get drop-down menus to work on any web site. So I downloaded Java, still doesn't work. But I can research and probably fix. Just didn't want to mark this resolved until I'm 100%. Getting there, and computer is working great. So thanks for everything.

If you are using Internet Explorer Browser, I can't help you with that. I use FireFox.
