Restored system to an earlier restore point, BUT no mention of Date

Windows Startup Repair asked me if I wanted to try to restore my computer to an earlier date during the Startup Repair process. I selected yes, and thought it would give me a choice of dates to restore from. Apparently when using Startup Repair, MS picks the date for you (probably most recent that booted successfully). Well, that's fine, but my question is, how does one identify what date it was restored to?

After my desktop finally came back up in working order, I had no idea what date it was restored to. In Event Viewer, I found the generic message:
Event 1208, StartupRepair: Restored system to an earlier restore point.

Any suggestions to where I may find the actual date the system was restored to?

Ok mate look I am not on my 7 machine at the moment but what I would try is pull up the system restore windows as if you were going to do it and check out the dates that you can restore it to - it might give you an idea of when you did this and then again it might not but worth a try:)

    Hi,
I'd guess the last round of windows updates or last restore point created doing updates.

    Hi Modifyinc

The only place I can think of is to have a look at the Window's Reliability Monitor - is the date displayed in reliability monitor on your computer? The monitor might just display date restored to, in the Action/Problem Details section.
