    Parental controls missing

Hi I have a very odd problem as title above. Did a fresh install of Windows Ultimate x64 with SP1 on VMWare, When I try to launch a portable app Im getting "Parental control denied access" I have searched and see plenty posts of how to enable this from control panel with Admin rights, point is there is NO parental controls anywhere in my control panel. Im wondering is there anyway around this, does anyone have a fix for this? I have found by digging around Group Policy control panel show all is not the culprit.

    Thank you
    S

    Open Control Panel
Copy and paste (or into Win explorer)
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Parental Controls

    Hello S, :)

Just to verify, do you have the Control Panel opened in icons view instead of category view?

    Hello Brink
Thank you for reply :) apologies for late reply, the icon was nowhere to be seen anywhere in the control panel no matter which layout chosen, search everything did not find any resuts. it was as though someone had hid it with Group Policy I gave it up as a bad job and reinstalled. Now left with trying to sort slight screen brightness and darkness, ambient sensor turned off in bios and services on my laptop seems I get 1 thing sored then something else comes along to test me ;-0
