    Dell laptop drive c partition


    hello,recently i got a dell insprion laptop and after formating i need to partition drive c and make drive d,can someone help me how,

    laptop is still formated as if i can do it before i can install from scratch again,so how can i do ?

    What are you installing on the drive? If you are installing Windows, then you will have an option at the beginning of the install process to partition the drive.

    Silvio, what you want to do? Delete all partitions, create new C: and D: and clean install Windows?

    hi,thanks m8's,i used to partition my 1 drive in half and created disc c and d in half capacity each,windows installed safely and updates installed ok,

    hi,instalation ok but im having this in system:-3 days until automatic activation,and that the product key is invalid for activation,

    NB ;- i used the product key there is beneath from its original sticker,and it was ok during installation when it asked for.whats next?

    windows was activated by the toll free setup.
