    C:Windows\System32\

    Hi all, trouble in paradise......again
Just started comp and I see a flash of "windows starting" then a blue screen with a command prompt box with the above....from memory, in it. Tried reset and same thing, safe mode the same.
Tried sfc /scannow at that command prompt, no errors! How do I get back control?

Did something happen before the problem began?
Boot from Win 7 installation disk, go to repair and launch a CMD window.
    Type:
    chkdsk c: /f

If no bad blocks or bad clusters, type
    sfc /scannow

To isolate the problem, shutdown and disconnect (power or SATA) of all other HDD leaving on only the boot disk (SSD?)
Once you have blue screen and CMD, did you try to type exit?

Thanks for your help. I inserted my W7 disk and tried a restore instead of repair.
Worked OK and all up and running again.....until the next little gremlin buggar comes along!
