One Drive Folder in accessible after re-install

    Hello there,

About my set up. My PC has C and D drive. I was using Windows 10, and the Onedrive location was pointing towards Drive D. about 85% were synced to the MS cloud.

Since I was unhappy with Win 10, I decided to reformat C drive with Win 7. During the reformatting I disconnect Drive D for accidental deletions.

Now after installation of Windows 7, the Onedrive folder is accessible. Please help, as I am in panic
I have tried everything from taking permissions to removing permissions, but I will put my hands up that I am a novice when it comes to NTFS.

    Thanks

Hi yeshu26, welcome to the Forum.

Windows 10 has Onedrive built in, whereas Windows 7 doesn't so you have to download the Onedrive app from MS.

This MS website has a link for that. Scroll down to the Windows 7 part & you will see the link for the download.
