...but I dont see a set up section like the other user so I cant delete same. When I try and use my Win 7 discs I get an incompatibility pop up?

Any idea of a fix? I also tried
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /rebuildBCD
...last command didnt execute. I have Win 7,10,server 2008, server 2012 on the PC and all worked pre BIOS update.
Thanks

On a UEFI-GPT disk, on a 100M Fat32 partition (EFI) you have Windows Boot Manager and other OS boot manager (ex is Grub for Linux).
Windows Boot Manager has the options to the Windows boot loader (That is on the windows partition).
To manage UEFI Windows Boot Manager use Manage EFI/UEFI boot options & Manage EFI System Partitions & Fix EFI/UEFI boot issues the easy way!

So the fix was to change setting from UEFI to "Other OS " as per screenshot:

Well done.
Windows UEFI is the same as Secure Boot. Only win 10, Win 8.1 and Linux are compatible with Secure boot.
