    Wierd chinese letters in regedit


    Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.
    This morning I opened regedit and found this:

    They all have the same dword value of 3
    Wierd chinese letters in regedit-picture3.png

    I don't remember seeing this the last time I've opened regedit. I did a full virus scan on Avast and it didn't find anything. I've also did a system restore, but nothing changed. Maybe those are some left over registries from some kind of software or something? I don't think so. This pc has barely anything on it. I don't know, what are your thoughts?

    Where was that PC made and programmed?

    I built my PC myself and installed Windows on it myself, and when I looked at the same location that you showed, I have Nothing above "AppEvents".
    I think I'd be inclined to Back Up my registry and then Delete those Chinese Looking entries from the Registry. That is, everything above 'AppEvents'.
    Then reboot your PC and make sure everything is still working normally. I suspect it will.

    It's not a pc. It's a laptop. I backuped the regisrties and restarted. The registries are gone. Thanks.

    They were probably created by some program. Review your software.

    You can have a malware installed.
    Download on another computer AntiSpyware portable (https://www.superantispyware.com/por...canner.html)to a flash drive and run on your computer.
