    Centering a window on the screen


    Now I know this will sound pretty frivolous but I want to open the command prompt so that the small windows opens in the centre or near the bottom of my monitor screen as it always opens at the top left hand corner and as I have a 27" monitor it feels like you are staring at the ceiling and it rather annoying.

    So anyone got any tips on getting it to open where I want it to?? as I have Googled it and cannot find anyway of getting it to open where I want it.

    Thanks stranger LOL!! I sort of found it by trial and error in the properties if I had known it was that simple I could have saved my self a lot of moaning and groaning LOL!!

Centering Quick Launch Icons

Windows 7 uses a taskbar that is a bit thicker than XP and Vista's default. As a result, we get this: http://i.imgur.com/7pMEx.png Anyone have any idea on how to centre the quick launch icons so they match the taskbar icons? So things look normal?
Hi, Anyone knows how to lock window media player 12 in full screen . I saw people do but i dont know how . Any ideas ?
I don't like the date being displayed. Is there some way I can replace it with a larger-font 24-hour-time clock? And is there a way to center the taskbar icons? The one way I can find is to create a new empty taskbar, but that doesn't do what I want -- they're all still the same distance apart.
I've changed my desktop background to include personal photos but i can't get them to unstretch and the photos are distorted as a result. On the "change desktop background" screen in the Control Panel I've chosen "center" and then "save changes" but the background does not change. It remains...
