    Is there a way to change Windows 7 "Folder Views" to "View" on a permanent basis?

    Hello Bill, and welcome to Seven Forums. :)

    If you like, you could use the method in the tutorial below to apply a folder view to all folders. This folder view will remain the default, but can still be changed on a per folder basis.
