    Booting flash drive in VirtualBox


    Good day to all!

    Is this possible? There's a usb controller in VirtualBox setting that I can add but I can't mount the flash drive.

    Thanks for your quick reply. I'm having problem no bootable medium found, figuring out this statement from your link now, "Note that the USB device must be the first hard disk in your virtual machine or VirtualBox won’t boot from it."

    It booted now! Problem with Rufus in writing Debian image was solved by Yumi. Thanks again Snick for that link!

I'm trying to install Ubuntu 12.10 on VirtualBox with a fixed size of 30 GB. However, when I start up the VM, it says I don't have the required 4.9GB of space to install and in the settings it says there's only 4MB. I've tried Googling around but I couldn't find an answer.
