    Windows Startup crashed

Windows 7 pro startup screen crashed. Get failure screen "Boot Device not found"
Please install an operating system on your device
    Hard Disk = (3F0)

The Bios comes up ok, but when it tries to start Windows the three flags only appear as the initial colored dots and freeze. What do I do to get Windows start up to work. Diagnostics for memory and drives are all good. Just can't get past the first Windows screen.

    Help please. Thomas Baird

No, I do not have a Windows 7 DVD. I thought I did, but cannot locate it. I just downloaded all the 32bit drivers in preparation for obtaining a Windows 7 Pro DVD or download to put on my 4GB memory stick to try to either reload or repair. I already did a System Repair to bring the system back to Factory settings, but this did not repair the Windows 7 Pro. My data is backed up on another computer so that is not lost. But, I prefer using Windows 7 Pro.

    Here's a link for Win7 ISO: TechBench
All editions ( pro, home premium, etc ) can be made available from any windows 7 iso - either by removing the ei.cfg file from the sources folder, or by using
    eicfg_removal_utility.zip
