Create A Custom Start Menu Shortcut With No Extended Task List

Hello there,

Any way to disable jump list arrows from pinned items on start menu? - Windows 7 Help Forums

But I was wondering if there is a way to create a custom start menu shortcut that won't lead to an extended task list. In other words, jump lists and task lists are not actually disabled in your start menu, a very specific workaround. Let us execute this exercise with CCleaner as example again.

Please see the pics i have attached. EG.1 & EG.2 is how a CCleaner Shortcut would normally be, if pinned on ur Start menu ie. it has an extended context menu. I would like to replicate a custom exe shortcut which does not lead to any extended menu, like as in EG.3.

Thanks in advance.
