Anyone know if Ophcrack still works on Windows 10? It can't find the my password on Windows 10. However, it works quite well on Windows 7 for some reason.

Sorry we have a forum rule that prohibits discussion of cracking passwords

The only reason for upgrading to Windows 10 is for a real world hands on OS learning experience for those who are interested in becoming an IT Professional.

Don't agree with only reason, but it is a good reason nonetheless. I have several OSs on my machines, all unlisted are in VM.

    The Full Truth IMO

The technical requirements for Windows 10 are similar to Windows 7 and Windows 8 so if a system runs one of these older operating system well then it should run fine.

THe Home versions of Ten are designed to appeal to the home user who is happy to let the system maintain itself. The higher level editions have a lot more control

The new windows 10 liciensing requirement seems to indicate that it is not so worthwhile putting an OEM install onto older hardware.

To contemplate a windows 10 OEM licience now, Id prefer to install on Ryzen or Intel 8th Gen architecture.

I should have posted "for those who are interested in consumer computer repair".

That seems to be one of the problems with Windows 10 it's always breaking.

In my experience the amount of issues you see with windows is directly proportional to the amount of unneeded hacking/modding/customising the user does
