Windows 7: WIN 7 - right click on "start" button does not do anything

WIN 7 - right click on "start" button does not do anything

Very strange, right click on the START button of WIN 7 x64, Nothing happens. Tried several mouses, of course ,I got a hunch its a REG thing , but I am out of my depth here

Right clicking the W7 Start button only brings up a context menu with a couple of items.

Have to say though that I have never used the right click on the start button. Don't see the point, there are much quicker ways of gaining access to the items on the context menu!

I thought you may have been thinking of W8.1 or W10.

Those Start button context menus have a lot of options.

I've never used those context menu options from the Start button either.

I have Windows Explorer pinned to the Taskbar and I access the Start Menu properties when the Start Menu is open.
