Display of multiple Windows in Win10

I've been bitching ever since Win10 came out in regards to displaying multiple Windows. I really ONLY want to display 2 windows side by side. Yesterday I discovered the "right click on Task Bar" and show Windows side by side on my full screen. EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. However, then I got to playing around with it, and now when I have 2 windows open, the 2 windows only take up 2/3 of the screen, leaving room for a 1/3 window.

I've searched the 'net, but can't find anything to undo this option. Can anyone point out how to correct this? I would even consider going back to the way it was before where I had to drag the 2 windows side by side. If I could get back to that point, I think I could then use the "right click on the Task Bar" and just have my 2 open Windows side by side without dragging them.

Hi, just wanted to let you know that you may have better luck getting help with your Windows 10 on Windows 10 Help Forums

That being said, I cannot seem to be able to replicate your issue. I opened two instances of notepad, shift+right-clicked on the icon on the taskbar and when I selected "show windows side by side" they each took up half of the screen. This will vary depending on how many windows you have opened under that icon in the taskbar e.g. 3 windows will be shown as three from left to right, four will be shown each one being in the corner.

I know this isn't perfect, but would dragging each window to the left/right edge of the screen (aka "snapping") be an acceptable work-around for now?

Thanks...

I have a bit of "tunnel vision" and see just "Windows" rather than SevenForum in my bookmarks. Made this mistake before. I guess I'll just delete the bookmark as I also have an Win 10 form right below this bookmark.

And yes, I can drag Windows around the screen fine. My big problem with doing so is that if I drag a window TOO far into a corner, it immediately snaps to full screen mode and then I have to start over. PITA.

Thank for you input. Since I don't see myself ever getting Win7 or supporting someone with it, I think I'll FLY away...

Hey, no worries, happens to me too sometimes.

Don't drag them to the corners, man, just to the side of the screen, then it won't attempt to go full-scren c:

But yeah I do understand how this is a total PITA. Hope you can get this resolved.
