User Profile loading complications

Sometimes when starting Windows 7, it loads my profile, but only partially, leaving most of the desktop icons missing and all the taskbar icons blank.

Other times, it boots to a "temporary profile."

The normal profile does sometimes load as well, but the problems return only sometimes whenever I decide to reboot Windows.

All these problems began when I got a BSOD about two weeks ago, and I'm trying to figure out how I can fix this issue without reinstalling Windows.

I have checked the Event Viewer, and some of the errors from when my profile fails to load include:

Windows was unable to load the registry. This problem is often caused by insufficient memory or insufficient security rights.

DETAIL - The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
for C:\Users\USERNAME\ntuser.dat

Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile.

DETAIL - The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

Windows has backed up this user profile. Windows will automatically try to use the backup profile the next time this user logs on.

Windows cannot find the local profile and is logging you on with a temporary profile. Changes you make to this profile will be lost when you log off.

Windows cannot load classes registry file.
DETAIL - The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

Another type of error shows up whenever I shut down Windows at all, even long before the problems began. The registry handles in this error vary from time to time.

Windows detected your registry file is still in use by other applications or services. The file will be unloaded now. The applications or services that hold your registry file may not function properly afterwards.

I always keep my system in check, as I have an anti-malware tool and keep my startup programs at a minimal.

I have also tried a few "solutions" in order to fix the problems, but they don't seem to do anything, so I came to this forum in a last ditch effort to find a solution.

Okay, so I created two new profiles, a new one and a temporary one. After copying the data from the old to the new via the temporary profile, I logged in to the new profile and everything seemed fine. After I was done setting things up, I decided to reboot and when I did, the new profile only did the partial load. Rebooting again and everything loaded normally. This is what would happen with the old profile.

I decided to have another look at the event viewer and I saw these two errors with Source: "User Profile Service"

for C:\Users\NEWUSER\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\\UsrClass.dat

My computer loads pretty quickly, so is it just not giving it enough time for the profile to load?

I also get this message whenever I reboot still:

Is there any way I can prevent this error?

Also would it also be safe to delete the old profile at any point?

UPDATE: Now I seem to be getting a bunch of 10023 search errors in the viewer. What do these mean?
