Having memory issue after running a miner

I ran a few different miners for a while a couple of months ago and ever since I've been having problems with memory which is currently a 4x4 16gb setup

What can I do to clean or purge out the memory?

What problem do you have with memory exactly?

Programs crashing from not enough resources and I never had this problem until I ran miners

And I try to keep my running programs as thin as possible most of the time, but if I run say telegram, outlook, 3 firefox browers with maybe 10 tabs each, itunes, discord - I'll end up getting some memory resource crash error after a few days

This computer is a beast and I haven't even overclocked the 5620k chip yet (waiting on watercooling to be finished)

But 16gb should still be plenty for what I'm doing.

Uninstall the miner programs. That's likely what is causing the memory issues. From what I understand, these programs use all available resources, meaning that you won't have enough resources for anything else.

Look in task manager how much memory consumes the miner. If it does try shutting it down and see if the problem persist (all resources must be released at that point).
Also, check if your pagefile settings are properly configured for your needs or if you need to expand it a bit. Checking if you have enough HD free space for a page file is also an option.

Well the miners haven't been running for some time, but they are still installed.

I don't use them like before, but there seems to be some residual memory issues from when I was mining.

Do you really think it's necessary to uninstall them?

Is there any way to purge memory?

Yes, I don't recommend using any Miner!
