What is an ARM structured file ?

VoidTools.com offers Everything.exe in ARM (format?) downloads
    eg, Everything-1.4.1.895.ARM.en-US.zip . . . . . at Everything.exe | Downloads

What does the ARM represent ?
On the net there is a plethora of "how to open" but none explain (for my curiosity) what is the ARM thing ?
Windows ? or non Windows ? an adjunct to Windows (for visually impaired) ?
I think it has something to do with audio, hence my guess at "audio for visually impaired"

To satisfy my basic curiosity ... thank you

    ---------------
for the zealous post-counters ... I have been using Everything.exe since XP, I know what it is for

ARM is a type of processor architecture. iPhone, iPad, Android phone and other small devices have ARM chips .

It's just yet another CPU architecture for what code can be compiled. Read more on it here:
    ARM architecture - Wikipedia

It's pretty similar to the differences between 32 and 64 bits CPUs for x86 based ones. Note that in the link you posted, there are files named "Everything-1.4.1.895.x86.en-US.zip", "Everything-1.4.1.895.x64.en-US.zip" and "Everything-1.4.1.895.ARM.en-US.zip", which implies the very same program compiled for 3 different CPUs.

Basically, the very same source code is targeted at those 3 CPUs, which produces different binaries meant to run on different architectures, but achieving the same effect. Thus you can consider ARM as yet another variant like x86 or x64.
