Need to get to the Desktop

    Hi folks!!

    Would appreciate your assistance.

Every time a friend's computer starts, it goes to:
    Computer > Local Disk (C) > Program Data > Microsoft > Windows > Start Menu > Programs > Startup > Kingston Office

What do I need to change so that it will go to the good old Desktop?

    Thanks for your help!!

(If this is not the right place for this question, please move.)

Are you sure that the OS on this computer is a version of Windows 7?

Have you checked the Startup Folder in the Start Menu?

You can also find it here:
    "C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"
Various programs allow you to inspect/modify your Startup list (like CCleaner).

Program Data > Microsoft > Windows > Start Menu > Programs > Startup

Items in the startup folder will be started automatically. If you don't want it to run on start up you can remove it.
