How can I make the windows explorer open highlighting the favorites fo

Every time I open the windows folder it starts up highlighting the C:/ drive in the left pane. From there, I ahve to navigate to the folder that I need to use. Given that most of the time, I need to go to the folders listed in the Favorites foler list, I have to scroll all the way to the top to see the favorites folder.
Is there a way that I can always start Windwos explore with the favorites folder highlighter( Technically speaking, I don't think favorites is a folder - I am using the term because I can't think of anything else)
    Thanks for any inputs

    This is what I did:
    - Open Explorer, left click on Favorites.
    - Right click. On the menu, choose the "Add current location to Favorites"
    - Go to C:\Users\NAME\Links and Favorites link will be there.
    - Cut the link and paste on the desktop.
    - Execute the link and it will open Explorer on the Favorites.

Thank you to both for your responses. The first solution provided by megahertz07 worked. The second solution brings up the favourites in Internet Explorer.

Thanks to both of you for your prompt responses. Marking this is resolved
