    Windows won't fully start

My computer has been crashing lately, usually when playing a video/audio.
Anyway now at startup/restart it goes right into either the Windows Error Recovery screen or the Safe Mode prompt screen and juist keeps looping there.

I have done 2 system restore's and 1 startup recovery that was actually able to finish and it still hasn't helped.
Statup recovery said it couldn't repair this computer automatically.
When I press finish it goes back to safe screen prompt mode.
    Safe mode runs fine though.

    Can anyone help.
    Non-techie here.
    thanks in advance.

I had to go back into safe mode to finish the system restore.
Once I did and restarted it windows now loaded but the desktop icons took awhile to come in and went out and hung up a bot when opening a program.
It's kinda working but not perfectly.

    Lets do the basic
    - Schedule a check disk. On a CMD window type chkdsk c: /f. It will ask if you want to schedule on next start = yes. Reboot. Pay attention on the results, specially bad clusters and bad blocks.
    - Do a System File Check. On a CMD window type sfc /scannow

    Thanks for replying Megahertz07.
It's back ti crashing again, just now it's after windows loads.
Tried doing the command prompt chkdsk in safe mode w command promot but there's no restart button there.
When I shut off manually then turn on it goes back to the windows error recovery screen.

So I don't know what to do.

    Found the cmd for restart.
Still didn"t let it do the chkdsk.
Took me back to windows error recovery page.

Wait just allowed me to do chkdsk and guess nwhat?
    0 files on bad sectors,
Only problem is now it even crashing on safe mode.
    It hangs loading windows files.
Then when it restarts it wants to do the chkdsk again.
So it's now part of the loop.
    Sighhhhh!

Were you able to do the SFC?
Do you have a Win 7 installation disk (same bit version)?

Am I going to have to do a complete re-install of windows or am I going to do a partial repair?

Do you have your data backed up?
Do you have an external disk to save your data?
Lets try to fix your installation. If it fails, we will do a Factory Recover.
