Logged in as Admin but prohibited from disabling hiberfil through CMD

    Hello,
I am new to this forum.
I am the only user of my PC and always log in as the Admin. I wanted to disable the creation of the hiberfil so I went into CMD prompt, went to C:\ and entered "powercfg.exe -h off" and entered Enter. I received the message that I do not have permission to make that change.
I have confirmed I am logged in as Admin. How do I fix this?
    Thank You!

Welcome to the forum find cmd.exe right clcik and choose run as admin or Another way to do so is by opening the start menu, typing in cmd and then pressing the "CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER" key. Use this shortcut to open the command prompt as an administrator

Thank you so much! I feel like a dummy not having known how to do that.
    Thanks again!

Things link that require that you perform that procedure even if you are an administrator unless you are running as the administrator. I just tested it and confirmed that you don't need to run an elevated command prompt when you are using the administrator account.
