Fix for Patches with CPU detection (for Win7 & Win8.1) | My Digital Life Forums

EDIT: SkyLake is the Intel 6th generation processor & It is well supported by Intel & MS. So, With SkyLake Platform in question, Its quite easy to find drivers & make windows updates. As win 7 doesn't support newer devices out of the box, one may only need to slipstream some drivers directly into the win7 installation media.
The problem is with KabyLake (7th) & later generations. The above MDL links should come handy for them. To say it more clearly, 3rd party workouts are available even for KabyLake & it only darkens with 8th & 9th generations!
As for windows updates : DISM++ is a good alternative to in-built Windows Updates, Dism, etc. functionalities. It is always good to make updates with DISM++ Utility. Not only it fastens the updation process but also tells for the undesired stuff in advance. MS blocks updates by updates itself & I suppose it would prove vital to avoid them. I think it would be a little typical to deal with the updates, once they are made. Prevention is always better than the cure. DISM++ here :(Thanks to sir SIW2 for suggesting)
