Strange ALIEN Lights Msconfig NOGUI Boot

Hey check this out. i got this on an older pc (Core 2 Duo) on external monitor after i specify nogui boot in msconfig.

8 Aqua Green Lights appearing on Top Left corner of screen to be exact.

I tried -nogui boot on a new laptop and did not get any such result.

Same thing on my HP Win7x64 Home Premium Desktop. That's a quirk in Win7, I believe it's a preload of the Windows logo for the GUI, which doesn't run with no gui boot.

but seriously, it only happens to external monitors?
i'm running win 7 ultimate 64x 6.1 7601. on an i7 laptop did does not occur.

Apparently so, I just disable GUI Boot on my lappy and as you stated, it doesn't occur. When I plug in my external monitor it does. Gotta love M$
