Open Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Update
Run Check for updates manually.
Does it run forever?

OK, if it took about 2 mins, it's OK.
Open Device manager. Is there any yellow alerts of missing drivers?

Hi,

I will definitely check that when I am on my PC next, I won't get to it tonight.

I know this is Sevenforums, but I am already having thoughts of starting fresh and doing a reinstall unless someone can magical help cure the issue.

What I want to ask is, how safe is it to go down this route for Windows 10?
Digital License - Windows 10 Professional

An IT guy in work had mentioned something similar or me where you can buy Windows like this. Are these scenarios total scams?

Thanks :)

Any reason to downgrade to Win 10?

Newegg.com sells win 10 pro for US$150. So €24 is too good to be serious.

If you have a win 7 ultimate license you can install win 10 pro using win 7 ultimate license.

No, sure it'll be an upgrade. Others tell me this too. Windows 8 would be the downgrade from what I hear.

Yeah I agree that price is too good to be true.

Actually, I do own a version of 7 Ultimate on my laptop. I wouldn't be able to keep it on that and install it on my PC would I? Or even get the version 10 using that Ultimate as you mentioned?

What kind of license is your Win 7 Ultimate (Retail or OEM)?
Retail license can be transferred to another computer.
OEM license, once installed on a computer cant be transferred to another computer.
