How to change BootManager entry for USB Flash Drive?

I have a couple of USB Flash Drives which contain different bootable systems.

When I plugin the USB falsh drives into the USB ports of my mainboard, boot my computer and let BootManager show up then they all appears as "Sandisk Cruzer"

So it is difficult to distinguish between them.

Is there a way to change the BootManager entries and rename them e.g. to "mytoolsusb1"
    "backupusb2",....

This renaming should be done (if possible) with changes from USB flash drive (not from BootManager).
So that the changed name appear an other computers as well.

    How can I achieve this?

    Hi pstein,
    Greets,
    Sir,
You actually want to change info on the flash memory chip and I think its not possible! I would like to mention that there is a utility called ChipGenius based on that information only. The utility reads the information from the chip & help decide about counterfeit & fake flash drives. I fear that the utility would be useless if one can change that information on the chip.

( The ChipGenius Utility : 4 Tools to Test and Detect Fake or Counterfeit USB Flash Drives • Raymond.CC )

    Hope it helps,

    Thanks & Regards. ...
