    Where are Indexing Options stored in the registry?

    I want to index not only the properties but the contents of ALL of my files.

    I can go into Indexing Options, select one extension at a time, and click the radio button to index contents instead of just properties... but I have hundreds of extensions. I would like to change them all easily.

    I was hoping these settings would be stored in the registry, where I could use a batch operation to change them all simultaneously.

    Thanks much.

    EDIT: While I would still like to know where the values are stored, I have found a workaround. I used AutoHotKey to automate the selections:

    Click, 1102, 207
    Loop, 20
    {
    Send !C
    Sleep, 50
    Send +{TAB}
    Sleep, 50
    Send {Down}
    Sleep, 50
    }

    Now, to see how big my index gets... the properties alone on my 1.7 million files came out to 4GB... :)

    If you go into the Indexing Options and then select Advanced and File Types, it should show all the file extensions. There's a box you can check to Index Properties and Contents.

    Sounds like that's what you want to do.

    Hope this helps.
