for me i s avast internet security, i installed it not on ssd but on normal hard disk partition e. but i don't think move to ssd change something, is the antivirus the slow down the boot for me....
As Antivirus has a daily update, I also installed on the HDD. That's not a problem.
During boot, one of the fist thing to be loaded is the antivirus. Then it pauses all other tasks and do a basic search. There is nothing you can do.
Did you do a clean install on the SSD? (there is nothing like a clean install !!!)
How big is your SSD?
With a small SSD (mine is 128G for windows and Linux) you should do a clean install and move the C:\users to the HDD (D:\Users).
Every user has a temp folder that collects a lot of trash and is good to have it on the HDD.
Download CrystalDiskMark. Don't have to install. Just run it. Post the results as an attachment.
