Can't delete or rename a folder

When I try to delete a sub-folder inside one of my folder it says "The source file(s) are larger than the supported". And when I right click that folder there's no properties, no cut & paste options. The only options are "open in a new folder" "include in library" "Add to vlc media list" "send to". I tried file assassin to delete the folder but file assassin doesn't even show the folder. What can I do? Plz help.

P.S- All the other sub-folders with this folder is normal.

Try shift and delete rather than delete. Note this will delete the folder and it's contents. It will not send it to the recycle bin.

This normally happens on a folder that has a very big path. The maximum path is 256 characters. (260?)
    For example
C:\users\megahertz\documents\My private documents\How to make and bake a chocolate cake.doc has 91 characters.
Try to short the path names upstream.

I can't open the folder so I can't shorten the path names. I can create a shortcut desktop and delete/rename it. But there isn't any rename/delete option for the original folder.

Of course you can create a shortcut desktop and delete/rename it. A shortcut isn't the same of the original.

Try to short the path names upstream.
