Can't cut/copy and paste into twitter

I can't cut or copy text, urls, images etcc.. from the internet or desktop into twitter. I know that other people can. anyone aware of an issue or a setting that might be wrong? I have also asked the same question on the Pale Moon forum, no response yet.

    Open an elevated command prompt:
    • Click Start.
    • In the search box type cmd.
    • Right-click the cmd icon from the search results under Programs and select Run as administrator.
    • The elevated command prompt window will now open.
Copy echo off | clip [yes there are 3 spaces there] and Paste it [you need to use the mouse right-click and paste for this as CTRL+V doesn’t work] into the elevated command prompt window and press Enter.
Try copying and pasting into Twitter again!

    I hope this helps!

Thanks for your advise but i received the following message after hitting enter.

'clip"' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

I did a little research and learned that the problem might be that "clip is not in my path"
    What do you think?

Sorry, my fault, try echo off | clip.

No apologies required mate. I was totally lost on this one. using this command I received no message but I am still unable to paste anything cut or copied onto twitter. Is this something that needs me to reboot before it changes?

It wouldn't hurt to try that!

OK my bad. I should have done this before I asked for help. I just tried with internet explorer and it worked just fine so the problem has to be with my Pale Moon browser. thanks again for your help.
