Can the list in Program & Features>Installed Updates be made searchable?

and what's the difference between a Security Monthly Quality Rollup and a Security Update?

The Security Monthly Quality Rollup is cumulative, whereas the Security Only Updates are individual monthly updates so they ALL need to be installed individually.

    I hope this helps!

Not sure if this is what you're asking, but maybe you can get something with the following from a command prompt window:

    C:\Windows\System32\wbem\wmic qfe list brief /format:htable > %temp%\u.html & %temp%\u.html

or to get a text list:

    C:\Windows\System32\wbem\wmic qfe list brief /format:list > hotfixes.txt

FTR, this only shows updates applied after Windows was installed. It does not show what updates were already slipstreamed into the installation media at the time you installed Windows.

I have a batch program that lists installed updates, see my signature.

    That's fine, thanks.

Have you asked the PTB to put those into the Tutorials, where they'll be available to everyone?
