It happens randomly sometimes if im playing a game. Its the same sound you get if you click on a folder.

Does it comes from the speaker or from inside the computer?
If it comes from inside your computer it can be from a dying HDD.

Its related to windows, not my computer equipment. Its the same sound that windows plays if you click on a folder.

    I would do

start > run > control mmsys.cpl sounds > enter > click sounds tab > sound scheme = no sounds > apply

Good Advise, from a fellow Floridian!

However, there are certain sounds that I want to hear and expect to hear. And, with ALL sounds shut off, I don't get to hear those expected sounds. So I leave the sounds that are important to me, and shut off the rest. It only takes a few minutes and it's a better alternative to just shutting off everything.
I even have some custom sounds that I like, and that I've imported from previous OS's.

    Happy Trails !

Go to Control Panel, Sound. In Sounds, click and test each one until you find one which matches what you're hearing. The closest thing I could find to a "click" is "Start Navigation" under Windows Explorer.

Yes, that seems to be it. Why does it play randomly sometimes?
