my brother's old Sony Vaio VPCEB laptop (a late 2010 model) came with Win7 home premium and will continue to run Win7 even past the Jan. 2020 EOS date. I'm not gonna mess with his laptop (nor upgrade the OS to Win10) since there are some proprietary apps from Sony that are not fully compatible with higher Windows versions

No "usb legacy support" "qfan" options on my asus laptop bios.

Can folders default the View to: "LIST", not Detail?
When I open a folder in 7, unless I previously set it to a specific view setting, it seems to always auto default to "Detail" unless I change it manually. Is there an easy way to make folders default to LIST automatically when I open them each time? Thanx.
