I love my optical media. The bit integrity is a lot better than flash or mechanical based storage. I have a Pioneer Blu-ray burner and it also burns M-Disc. So I have copies of my important stuff on DVD/RW, and Blu-ray. Then I burned all of Wikipedia to M-Disc along with the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, the Bible and some other stuff. Over the years I'll make new disks and it's my request to have the disk placed in my coffin since I believe one day my grave my be an archeological find.

I've had an LG DVD drive for a long time now, and it has "M Disk" embossed on the front of the drawer, and I never knew what that meant. Now, I know. Thank You!

I just don't think I'm ready to put out the money for 'MDisks' though. I don't need any media that will last for more than the short time I have left on this world. Maybe 10+ years. (only if I'm lucky)

I finally relented and bought some DVD/DL disks, because there were things, like ISO's that just wouldn't fit on a normal DVD.

When DVD's first came out, they were DANGED expensive! Now they are more or less Dirt Cheap.

I buy my Verbatim disks from Amazon, and have them here in two days.
I love it, when the Big Brown Truck comes to my house.

Cheers Mate!

DL Disc reputable/repeatable source

Have bought in the past, and again about a month ago, DL discs from shop4tech.com. Great pricing, selection of all types of media and rapid delivery.
