This is kind of embarrassing... (Favorites folder is now a .png)

Hi, whoever may be reading.

I did something quite dumb. I tried to use Git Bash to turn all of the images in my Discord cache to PNGs.
What I ended up doing is turning some of my big folders into .pngs instead. I got all of the stuff back except for my favorites folder, which I use exclusively for accessing my downloads and whatnot.

The favorties folder created a second one which doesnt seem to work, as putting stuff in there does not bring anything up in the explorer.

Help

Do you have a restore point or backup?
Hopefully, yes.

You might be able to just right click the parent folder and choose Properties. Click to the Previous Versions tab and try to find something earlier in the week - before the error. You can copy the folder from that window and paste it as you like.

Do you have a System Restore Point prior to this happening?

Please tell us that going forward, you will be making routine full OS partitions backup images and data partition backups via full images or at least folders & files -- on external media, using whatever fee or free backup / restore utility of your choosing.

I have music with certain artist, and if I go to start menu and type artist name, it shows the song name in search results, but if I were to go the folder where the song is actually saved in, and type the artist name, resulting search is empty; I believe it apparently only searches the titles of...
