Clear from memory, list of authors / tags in 'Save As' window

It is common knowledge that with 'Save As' in the (example: MS Office) window you have the option to enter the author/tags before saving the document.
Just type in one letter (say a) and you can see list all the authors that begin with the letter (for all the files you once ran).
I want to clear that list of available names, from memory.

How to remove list these author names in Win7?
    Is that possible?

Are you talking about the MetaData for MS Office files or the files within Win 7 themselves, like .bat, .txt, .png etc?

    Hi @Paul Black
Thank you for reporting to the thread.
This screenshot is part of the 'Save As' dialog window (Excel, Word or Power Point). I want to completely remove these author names (there are several hundred). I don't know if this belongs to MS Office memory or Windows memory.
Is it possible to delete (or clear) this list?

    I had a B.S.O.D on my computer.
After reinstalling the system, I returned several Excel files to the "MyDocuments" folder.
The 'Windows Index Search Engine' indexed these few files and the author names appeared in the list.

    Conclusion:
This meta data of all author names is in 'Windows Index Search Engine'
    path: "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows\Windows.edb"

    Hi,

As Windows Search Index is collecting the Authors names, then these names must be associated with particular documents.

To remove the names altogether, you would need search Windows for documents with these Authors included. Remove the Authors from all of these documents, and then possibly rebuild the Windows Search Index.

Another way round the issue would be to store your documents in a non-search indexed location. That way the authors names wont be discovered.
