    Quick Launch nuance

Added Quick Launch to my Task Bar. Has an icon peeking out when the task bar is locked but not when unlocked. Functionality is fine. Just kind of bugs me.

    Hello Myzr7,

It looks like it may be just a spacing issue. See if unlocking the taskbar, click and hold on the dotted lines to the left of the Quick Launch toolbar, then drag it a bit more to the right can hide that icon for you. Afterwards, lock the taskbar again.

    Hope this helps,

Chappy, Feedback has been sent to MSoft, thanks
Brink.I can unlock the tb and that in itself hides the icon. I move it all over the bar, right then left, back right but as soon as it is locked again,it peeks back out. Thanks for the reply and the tutorials.Seven Forums has made my 7 beta experience better!

To correct this, unlock the taskbar. Right click on the divider immediately before this toolbar and uncheck Show Text and Show Title. You can then drag the divider to show/hide the icons. One thing is puzzling, though. If you close this toolbar, you have to follow the instructions to create it again as it doesn't stay in the list of avilable toolbars.

    Myzr7,

Dwarf's post may correct this then with unchecking those items.

    Dwarf,

Yeah unfortunately, unchecking a created "New Toolbar" will always delete it from the taskbar.

Dwarf. Yes that did fix it, I think. Turned show text and title off then back on and now no peeky icon. Seems to me that I had been messing around with the show buttons just before this nuance started. Having to much fun trying out all the tuts and reproducing all the problems and bugs. Thanks for the replys ......lm

Along the sames lines, is there some reason when you unlock the taskbar you can't move the Quick Launch (not the IE one) unless you put another toolbar on it's left.

I was looking at putting the taskbar on top like Myzr7 and it seems more convenient for the Quick Launch to be on the right, next to the System Tray. or in the middle. But I really don't want to keep another toolbar there just for that reason.
